iQoo Neo 6 with Snapdragon 870 confirmed to launch in India – Times of India

iQoo recently announced two new smartphones, Neo 6 and Neo 6 SE, in China. Now, the company has confirmed that it is bringing one of the two smartphones to India. iQoo teased the launch of the Neo 6 in India with a poster showing the device’s rear panel while mentioning the smartphone’s chipset and charging speed.
As per the teaser, the Indian variant of iQoo Neo 6 comes with Snapdragon 870 chipset. At the same time, the Neo 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset while the Snapdragon 870 powers the Neo 6 SE in China, suggesting that the company might be rebranding the Neo 6 SE as Neo 6 in India. iQoo further confirmed that the smartphone would feature the 80W fast charging capability.
From the teasers, the smartphone can be seen to have a triple camera array. It might come in two Gradient Blue and Teal colourways. Not much is known about the iQoo Neo 6, but we expect the company to reveal more details about the smartphone in the coming teasers. The iQoo Neo 6 price in India is expected to start at around Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000 in India

iQOO Neo 6 could be a rebranded variant of iQOO Neo 6 SE, so we expect both smartphones to share similar specifications. The iQOO Neo 6 might feature a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 870 would be powering the smartphone paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. A 4,700mAh battery is expected to back up the smartphone, supporting 80W fast charging. The smartphone would run Android 12 out-of-the-box.
The triple rear camera array might consist of a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide unit and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it could feature a 16MP sensor for selfies.
