Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan got a lot of love for his recent OTT outing, ‘Qala’ which had released in 2022. While comparisons with his father have been evident, Babil is surely carving his own niche in the industry slowly. Having said that, Babil admits that being Irrfan’s son, comes with privilege.
In an interview, Babil has said that while he acknowledges the privilege he has of being Irrfan’s son, he doesn’t want to use that to get work. The actor further said in an interview in an interview with Hindustan Times that he tries to stay true to his sense of morality. On the other hand, he wants to use his privilege and his father’s connections to grow, evolve and learn from the people who are the masters of their craft.

Babil further says he likes to analyse his learnings and apply that knowledge in his auditions and work. That’s how he makes use of the things he has being Irrfan’s son. Well, Babil surely has his own fan following among the youth in no time. The actor recently had visited Jai Hind college for a festival and he was awestruck with the love he got from all the students there. He had shared some videos on Instagram with a heartfelt note.

The actor’s debut movie, ‘Qala’ was helmed by Anvitaa Dutt, and it also starred Tripti Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee and Amit Sial.
