Tripti Dimri who stunned with her turn as Laila in ‘Laila Majnu’ and followed it up with ‘Bulbbul’, has established herself as a name to watch out for in Bollywood. Now, buzz is that the actress has been approached to play the leading lady in a Sharan Sharma film. The project reportedly has Kartik Aaryan in the lead and the actor is likely to play the role of a cricketer.
The fictional and high-pitched emotional story is likely to begin by the end of the year. A source said, “Considering the present scenario it looks a little tough, but Kartik will also have to train for the role”.
Sharan has earlier directed Janhvi Kapoor-starrer ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ and Tripti is already shooting for the lead role opposite Irrfan Khan‘s son Babil in ‘Qala’ which is being produced by Anushka Sharma. Meanwhile, Kartik, who has just tested negative for coronavirus after a bout that had him self-isolating, will go back to shooting for ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2′ which was put on hold after the actor contracted the virus.
