Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter‘s ‘Khaali Peeli‘ is reported to be the first film to release on October 16 as theatres re-open in the country post the lockdown.

With new social distancing protocols and sanitisation becoming an integral part of the new normal, director Maqbool Khan‘s ‘Khaali Peeli’ will be the first Bollywood film to release in theatres as they re-open soon.

While cinemagoers are quite excited with theatres re-opening soon, Ishaan and Ananya’s film ‘Khaali Peeli’ which was released a few weeks back on a digital platform has been receiving a good response from the audience. While fans are all praise for the young actors, the news of ‘Khaali Peeli’ releasing in theatres has added to their excitement.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, director Maqbool Khan was all praise for Ananya and Ishaan. He said, “Ishaan and Ananya are young, energetic and smart actors to work with. Ishaan has performed all his stunts himself and Ananya too has done the action sequences by herself. They both are very punctual and dedicated actors.”
