J-K: First women’s police station starts functioning in Anantnag | News – Times of India Videos

In an impressive move to curb crime against the women in Jammu and Kashmir, the first ever Women’s police station has been inaugurated in Anantnag. The newly opened police station will focus on dealing with crime against the women with full force. The building of the police station was inaugurated by Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh. Amid the increasing offense against the women in the Valley, the police station will a boost to the safety measures for the said population. Reacting to the initiative, the local residents also lauded the move and expressed their increased sense of being heard and safety.
