It’s the end of an era with the tragedy king, Dilip Kumar breathing his last today. The legend died at 98 after battling prolonged illness. He had been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Hinduja Hospital, a non-COVID-19 facility, since Tuesday. ETimes reached out to Jackie Shroff, one of the veterans of Bollywood who had shared the screen space with late Dilip Saab and Shroff with a heavy heart shared a throwback picture featuring him and the late actor.

“Blessed to have shared screen space with the legend. My heartfelt condolences to the family. He was the strongest pillar of Indian cinema,” Jackie expresses his grief recalling the legend.
Jackie Shroff and Dilip Kumar together worked in ‘Saudagar‘, ‘Karma’ and ‘Raj Kapoor’. “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return,” family friend Faisal Farooqui shared from the actor’s Twitter handle this morning.
