Jacqueline Fernandez to be seen in an unreleased song with Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi in ‘Selfiee’ – Deets inside – Times of India

Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Selfiee’ released on Friday, February 24. While the film has got good reviews, it hasn’t picked up at the box-office in terms of its numbers. But the songs of the film – ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ remake and ‘Kudiye Ni Teri Vibe’ have gotten quite popular on the internet. But now there’s a new update on the film.
Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen in a song in ‘Selfiee’ along with Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. The song was not a part of the film’s narrative, hence the makers are planning to release the track now. It was shot in Bikaner.

The actress has worked with Akshay Kumar earlier ‘Ram Setu’ and ‘Bachchhan Paandey’, just last year. Earlier, the two actors have also worked together on ‘Brothers’. On the other hand, Jacqueline and Emraan’s chemistry has been loved in the songs of ‘Murder 2’. So, it would be interesting to see the trip coming together for a dance number.
‘Selfiee’ is the remake of ‘Driving Licence’. The Malayalam film starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead. The Hindi version is directed by Raj Mehta of ‘Good Newwz’ and ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ fame. The Akshay-Emraan film which also stars Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha made over Rs 10 crore in its opening weekend.
