Kamaal R Khan calls Arjun Kapoor his only ‘real friend’ in Bollywood; says ‘I will never criticise your film’ – Times of India

Actor turned critic Kamaal R Khan, popularly called KRK, has called Arjun Kapoor his ‘real friend’ in Bollywood. On Saturday, he took to Twitter and mentioned that he had a long discussion over a call with Arjun.

Sharing the tweet with his fans, KRK wrote, “Thank you so much @arjunk26 Bhai for your call and long discussion. Now I understood that you are only my real friend in Bollywood. And you are only real MARD who is not scared of anyone. Now I will never ever criticise your film.”

Earlier in his tweets, he had mentioned names of celebs like Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan amongst others. He also thanked Govinda in one of his tweets recently. But Govinda ended up clarifying that he is not in touch with KRK and is not aware why his name is being dragged amid controversy. Later, KRK also cleared the air and said that he wasn’t talking about Govinda, the actor but his friend with the same name.

Meanwhile, Salman has filed a defamation case against KRK following the release of his new film ‘Radhe’. The superstar’s legal team had earlier released an official statement where they said that the suit was filed because KRK has been ‘publishing and endorsing defamatory allegations, including that Salman Khan is corrupt, that he and his brand “Being Human” are involved in fraud’.

The statement read, “Mr. Kamaal R Khan, the Defendant, has put out a series of tweets and videos alleging that Mr. Salman Khan has sued him for defamation because the Defendant reviewed the film, Radhe. This is incorrect. The suit has been filed as the Defendant has been publishing and endorsing defamatory allegations, including that Mr. Salman Khan is corrupt, that he and his brand “Being Human” are involved in fraud, manipulation and money laundering transactions, that he and Salman Khan Films are dacoits. The Defendant has been spreading malicious falsehoods and defaming Mr. Salman Khan consistently over several months, clearly with a view to draw attention to himself.”

The statement further read, “Mr. Kamaal R. Khan’s lawyer made a statement in Court today that Mr. Kamaal R. Khan “will not put any remarks of defamatory nature against plaintiff on social media till next date”. The Hon’ble Court has been pleased to pass an order taking into account this statement made by Mr. Kamaal R. Khan’s lawyer.”
