khan: ‘Imran Khan is a psychopath’: Top quotes by Pakistan opposition leaders Maryam Nawaz, Bilawal Bhutto | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Amid the chaotic political play for over a week, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will finally face the no-trust vote on Saturday following the Supreme Court’s order.
Pakistan government has also filed a review petition against the Supreme Court’s verdict on the deputy speaker’s ruling over the no-trust motion in the national assembly.
While the Pakistan government pressed for a discussion in the Parliament on the “foreign conspiracy” against it, the opposition called upon the National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser to conduct proceedings in accordance with the court’s directives.
Here are the top quotes made by opposition leader Maryam Nawaz and Bilawal Bhutto
– Opposition leader Maryam Nawaz lashed out at Prime Minister Imran Khan for lavishing praise on India, saying he should go to the neighbouring country if he likes it so much. Her remarks came after Khan called India a “nation with a great sense of honour”.
– “Imran is praising India. He should also follow it on no-trust move. Some 27 no-confidence motions were tabled against different prime ministers of India. No one has played with the Constitution, democracy and ethics like him (Khan). Vajpayee lost the no trust move by one vote and went home but he did not take the Constitution, nation and country hostage like Khan,” she said in a series of tweets on Saturday.
– Someone should tell a person who has gone mad after seeing this power gone that he has been expelled by his own party and no one else. If you like India so much then shift there and leave the life of Pakistan,” the 48-year-old PML-N leader said.
– One person who is not in his senses anymore cannot be allowed to wreak havoc & bring the entire country down. This is not a joke. He should not be treated as PM or ex PM, he must be treated as a PSYCHOPATH who just to save his own skin is holding the entire country hostage. Shame,” she said in a tweet.
“A maniac’s fear of having to face the music has brought the entire country to a grinding halt & a complete standstill. The country of 22 crore is without a government for weeks now. This blatant violation of constitution and disregard to SC orders will be ugly & end badly,” she said.
– Meanwhile, Bilawal Bhutto laughed off ‘foreign conspiracy’ theory, and accused the speaker of being ‘hand in glove’ with the Pakistan government.
– “The foreign conspiracy rant, if you want a debate on this then we can debate for 100 days! There are so many lies in his speech! There’s a time difference between Pakistan and America, if its March 8 here, its March 7 there! If the National Security minutes have been produced then why was the no-confidence motion mentioned?,” he said.
– “Speaker if there was a conspiracy against Pakistan then they should have brought forth the evidence immediately,” Bhutto said.
– Bhutto said, “today the house was to take up voting on the no-trust motion as the only business, but you have violated the court’s order and allowed other issues to be raised”.
– “Speaker, other government officials are being made scapegoats to keep Imran Khan in power. Opposition not budging till vote on no-trust motion,” Bhutto affirmed.
