KL Rahul says he is ‘healing and recovering well’ after a successful surgery; girlfriend Athiya Shetty showers love on him – Times of India

Actress Athiya Shetty jetted off to Germany with her beau KL Rahul recently for his surgery. Reportedly, KL Rahul suffered a groin injury during a training session on June 8. On Wednesday, he took to social media and informed that he underwent successful surgery and is now ‘healing and recovering well’.

KL Rahul thanked everyone for messages and prayers, saying his road to recovery has begun following a ‘tough couple of weeks’.

He wrote, “Hello everyone. It’s been a tough couple of weeks but the surgery was successful. I’m healing and recovering well. My road to recovery has begun. Thank you for your messages and prayers. Meanwhile, Athiya and KL Rahul made their relationship official last year. The Indian cricketer wished Athiya on her birthday with a mushy post. Since then, the duo has been treating their fans with their pictures. In April this year, Athiya shared lovey-dovey pictures with her beau as she wished him on his birthday. Along with the pictures, she wrote, “anywhere with you, happy birthday 🥰.”

Meanwhile, Athiya was last seen in ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
