India Meteorological Department Scientist RK Jenamani on January 09 informed that light drizzle is likely to occur over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and UP on the night of January 11 and the morning of January 12. Heavy snowfall is also expected in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. “Delhi witnessed worse fog conditions of the season today. Due to dense fog, the temperature in Delhi will remain between 14-16 °C today. Light drizzle is likely to occur over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and UP on the night of January 11 and the morning of January 12,” said RK Jenamani, Senior Scientist, IMD. “Heavy snowfall expected in Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on 11th & 12th January,” he added.
