Maharashtra Cabinet on July 28 decided to slash private school fees for the current academic year by 15 per cent. State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said, “I want to inform that the cabinet has today decided to cut 15% school fees in the wake of the pandemic. Details will be issued soon. Every child has the right to education and we started the inquiry of complaints. We are taking action against those who stopping kids to take the online classes or not giving results.”
