Martyrs’ Day: Sanjay Dutt salutes the sacrifice of the heroes with a heartfelt message – Times of India

Martyrs’ Day is observed in India on several days to honour those who laid down their lives for India. Today, January 30 is the date which marks the date of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi by Nathuram Godse in 1948. On Martyrs’ Day, the President, the Vice President, the Prime Minister, the Defence Minister, and the three Service Chiefs gather at Mahatma Gandhi’s samadhi at Raj Ghat and lay wreaths there.

Earlier today, Sanjay Dutt also took to his social media handle to remember the heroes and penned a heartfelt note, “The sacrifice of the martyrs is the foundation of our nation. Let’s honour and salute them for giving us our today…#MartyrsDay2022 #Rememberingtheheroes”.
