Masaba Gupta shares throwback pic of mom Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher and late Satish Kaushik, ‘nostalgic’, say fans: See inside – Times of India

The country is still reeling under the untimely demise of actor-writer-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away at the age of 66, due to a sudden cardiac arrest in Gurugram, early morning yesterday. After receiving the shocking news, tributes from friends and colleagues have been pouring in constantly.

Recently Masaba Gupta, whose mother Neena Gupta was one of Satish Kaushik’s closest friends, shared a priceless throwback collage. The collage featured monochrome pics of a much younger Neena, Satish and Anupam Kher who studied together in NSD (National School of Drama). Fans took to the comments section to shower love on the pic and many said that it is heartbreaking to know that trio will never be seen together again.

Yesterday, Masaba took to her IG handle to share another throwback pic of mom Neena and Satish Kaushik, while writing, “Rest in peace Kaushik uncle – you gave mom the greatest gift… your kindness through all those years – will miss you.”

As said earlier, Neena and Satish shared a great bond with Satish even offering to marry Neena when she conceived Masaba out of wedlock. He remembered telling her, ‘main hoon na, tu kyun chinta karti hai‘ and suggested that if the baby is born brown (like dad Viv Richards), they will pass it off as his baby and no one will know anything.

The actor was cremated yesterday, with his friends and family bidding him a tearful adieu.
