Mouni Roy might play Satyabati in Dev’s upcoming Byomkesh film! As soon as the rumour started doing the rounds it raised quite a few eyebrows. It came out of nowhere when an unconfirmed media report came with the shocking news. Although it was a baseless rumour, fans were super excited about it. However, now Mouni herself has quashed all the rumours and has confirmed that there’s no truth behind this news. Speaking to an entertainment portal the actress made it clear that she has no idea about this Byomkesh film and she’s not doing any Bengali film right now. When asked about any Bengali films she has watched recently the ‘Brahmastra’ actor admitted that she hasn’t seen any of late but while growing up Mouni has seen a lot of Uttam Kumar-Suchitra Sen films along with a few Satyajit Ray movies. Meanwhile, shooting for the new Byomkesh film is set to start in May and it will release on August 15.
