A pilot and a rider of a powered paraglider died after they crashed in a farmland in Hanuwantiya village of Khandwa district —one of the major tourist attractions in Madhya Pradesh— on Wednesday. The Khandwa district collector has ordered a magisterial probe into the matter. A two-month Jal Mahotsav is being held at the famous water and adventure sports centre by the state tourism department. Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan posted a tweet and expressed grief over the death of two persons in the accident.
