Following the attack on BJP’s Nisith Pramanik in Bengal’s Cooch Behar on February 25, BJP MP and General Secretary of BJYM, Raju Bista targeted the Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and alleged that the attack was staged by the TMC party itself. Speaking to ANI, he said, “It is not an attack, it’s political terrorism backed by the TMC and as the panchayat election dates are coming closer attacks are increasing. They have crossed the limit by attacking a Union Minister’s convoy. Abhishek Banerjee had threatened of attacking BJP leaders a few days back in North Bengal and this is the outcome of the same. TMC keeps doing similar kinds of acts. It is unfortunate for Bengal that the state which was once a symbol of peace in not just India but the world is now getting defamed because of TMC. Mamata didi has left no stone unturned in defaming Bengal’s reputation.”
