oneplus 9rt: OnePlus 9RT may launch in India with a different name – Times of India

OnePlus 9RT smartphone may come to India with a new name. The handset was launched in October this year in China. A tipster now claims that the phone could launch in India soon, but with a different name. The leakster, however, could not provide the name or the launch date of the device.
The tipster based this information on the alleged listing of Google Supported Devices List and Google Play Listing website. He says that the smartphone does not carry the OnePlus 9RT name on these listing websites. Instead, it may simply be called OnePlus RT.
The handset has also been spotted on the BIS verification website. Readers must note that the company is yet to officially acknowledge the smartphone’s launch in India.
OnePlus 9RT specifications
As mentioned above, the OnePlus 9RT debuted earlier this year in China. The handset features a 6.62-inch full HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixel resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It offers up to 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor.
The device runs on Android 11 with Oppo’s ColorOS on top and packs up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The smartphone offers up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
For camera duties, the smartphone has a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and an optical image stabilisation (OIS) feature. It is paired with a 16MP secondary sensor with aperture f/2.2 and a 2MP macro shooter. At the front, the phone comes with a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie camera sensor at the front with an f/2.4 lens.
