OnePlus, alongside the Ace 2, unveiled the Buds Ace TWS earbuds in China. The OnePlus Buds Ace comes in a similar design that we have seen previously with the Nord Buds but with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). Here’s everything you need to know about the OnePlus Buds Ace.
OnePlus Buds Ace: Price, availability
OnePlus Buds Ace comes at CNY 249 (around Rs 3,000) in China. The Buds Ace will be available for purchase starting February 13. So far, there is no word on if or when the Buds Ace will launch outside of China.
OnePlus Buds Ace: Specifications, features, and more
OnePlus Buds Ace features 12.44mm dynamic drivers with BassWave Dynamic Bass tuned for rich bass. The Ace Buds come with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). The earbuds have dual microphones and also offer AI call noise reduction.
The Ace Buds come with support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. However, the Buds Ace earbuds only support AAC codec.
The Buds Ace has a similar design to Nord Buds with in-ear silicone tips and a flat stem. The stem has touch controls for track change, play or pause and to wake up the voice assistant. Further, the earbuds are IP55 sweat and water-resistant.
The charging case measures 67.99x 28.9x 35.5mm and weighs 37.5 grams. Meanwhile, each earbud measures 27.5×21.05×24.4mm and weighs 4.7 grams.
OnePlus Buds Ace packs in a 41mAh battery. The company claims that the earbuds can last up to 7 hours (without ANC) and 5 hours (with ANC) of music playback on a single charge. The charging case has a 480mAH battery, which can charge that around 5 times. The Buds Ace can offer a total playback of 36 hours (without ANC) and 27 hours (with ANC). The Buds Ace has support for fast charging, promising to offer 5 hours of playback (without ANC) with 10 minutes of charge.
