OnePlus resumes OxygenOS 12 rollout for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro 5G – Times of India

OnePlus has officially resumed OxygenOS 12 rollout to OnePlus 9 series. The rollout began earlier this month initially. But the company had to pull the update after users complained about facing issues after installing the update.
Now, OnePlus is once again releasing OxygenOS 12 to OnePlus 9 and OnePlus Pro. “OxygenOS 12 was released recently for the OnePlus and 9 Pro. Your reviews and feedback about it have been received and delivered to the product team at once. As always, we value them deeply and immediately started working on releasing an update to solve the issues you were facing”, the company said in a forum post.
The rollout has already started and has reached a few users already. It will continue to roll out incrementally.
With the new build, OnePlus says, it has solved issues like failure to connect to the mobile data in certain scenarios, phone notifications not being visible, freeze issues and some display problems. The company also reassures its customers that other reported problems, such as the auto-fill feature in Chrome and the temporary lack of access to the Ultra HD 48M / AUX camera on GCam are also covered in the follow-up update plan.
