12th World Hindi Conference in Fiji came to an end on February 17. During the closing ceremony of the event, External Affairs Mininster Dr. S Jaishankar said that this conference will be a ‘Mahakumbh’ of Hindi where people from all over the world will come as our aim is how to make Hindi a global language. He said, “We got a lot of questions that what will be the way forward? I think everyone’s expectation is that this conference will be a ‘Mahakumbh’ of Hindi where people from all over the world will come.” “We should organize this conference once in India and once abroad so that all Hindi lovers & people who want to promote Hindi get an opportunity. Our aim is how to make Hindi a global language,” Jaishankar added.
