In an attempt to create the new Guinness Book of World Records, over 5 lakh individuals from 31 districts of Karnataka participated in Yogathon-23 on Jan 15. On the eve of the 26th National Youth Festival, Yoga was practiced by 23,923 persons from 6 locations in the Dharwad district. Over 5,000 individuals practiced Yoga at Hubli’s Railway Cricket Stadium. Earlier in 2018, Rajasthan holds the Guinness World Records by gathering 1.6 lakh participants to do Yoga simultaneously.
