Google Pixel Fold likely specifications
According to tipster Jon Prosser, the upcoming Google Pixel Fold is said to sport a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold series. As per the leak, the Google Pixel Fold may feature a 7.6-inch OLED internal display with 2208×1840 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Pixel Fold is said to house a 5.8-inch FHD+ external OLED display with 1080×2092 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The upcoming foldable smartphone is said to be powered by Google’s own custom-made Tensor G2 chipset with Titan M2 security chip. The flagship smartphone is expected to offer 12GB of RAM and come in two storage options of 256GB and 512 GB.
Google Pixel Fold is tipped to run Android 13 operating system and comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is said to feature a triple rear camera with 48MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, 10.8MP Ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 10.8MP telephoto camera with f/3.05 aperture, and 5x optical zoom. The front is said to house a 9.5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Google Pixel Fold is rumoured to come with stereo speakers and is backed by a 5000mAh battery which may offer 24 hours of battery backup on a single charge.
Likely price and availability
The Google Pixel Fold is said to come in two colour options Chalk and Obsidian and its price may start at $1,799 (Rs 1,47,590). The company is expected to unveil the smartphone at the upcoming Google I/O 2023 and it is expected to go on sale starting June 27.
