Google hasn’t delved out any information about the specifications of the smartphone but the teaser video shows off the Pixel Fold in all its glory. It has a book-like design that we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy Fold series and the recently-launched Tecno Phantom V 5G.
The Pixel Fold gets a triple rear camera setup and it is in similar lines to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series of smartphones. However, it is not an edge-to-edge visor like in the recent generation of Pixel phones.

Google Pixel Fold launch will take place on May 10 at Google I/O event. A landing page on Google Store in the US offers a notify me button allowing users to get information regarding the foldable phone.
Google hasn’t revealed the names of the markets it will be launched in, hence, there is no information on the availability of the phone in India.

Reports suggested that the Pixel Fold will sport a 5.8-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch foldable panel. The phone is expected to be powered by Google Tensor G2 processor and will reportedly have “the most durable hinge on a foldable.”
The Google Pixel Fold is tipped to be priced over $1,700. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold4 was launched with a price of $1,799.
Google Pixel 7a
Earlier this week, Google announced that it will launch a Pixel smartphone in India. The phone is likely to be the Pixel 7a – a watered down version of the Pixel 7. Rumours suggest that the phone will get a 6.1-inch 90Hz display, a dual rear camera setup, Tensor G2 SoC and a full day battery.
