People in Chennai celebrated the Bhogi festival on January 13. Bhogi festival marks the beginning of four-day Pongal festival.Children also beat the drums and celebrate Bhogi festival in full fervour. Bhogi is a part of Pongal festival in Tamil Nadu where useless household articles are put in bonfire.
