It is the second day of the key GST Council Meet in Chandigarh. Major decisions are expected to be announced today. On day 1, it was cleared that Pre-packed & labelled food items will now attract GST. Today the Council will look into the demand from states, including Kerala and Delhi, to extend GST compensation beyond June and the proposal to levy a uniform 28% tax rate on online gaming, horse racing and casinos.
