Services at state owned banks may be hit across the country from March 15. The United Forum of Bank Unions, which is the umbrella body of nine unions, has called a two-day nationwide strike from March 15 against the privatisation of two PSU banks. Private banks will remain open and the strike will not affect financial transactions at private lenders such as ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and others.
