Ranbir Kapoor breaks silence on rumours of being cast in ‘Ramayana’, ‘Dhoom 4’ – Deets inside – Times of India

Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his next, ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar’ along with Shraddha Kapoor. The film is directed by Luv Ranjan. The actor will be seen in a love-story after a while but Ranbir thinks it’s not an ordinary romcom. He’s never played a character like that before, the actor says.
Post the success of ‘Brahmastra’, fans are looking forward to seeing him in this one, especially after the trailer and songs have got such a good response. But in an interview with News18, Ranbir said that the film isn’t boring like other romcoms. It has a lot of ups and downs. Moreover, he’s never gone through this kind of heartbreak in any movie.

In this interview, the actor also addressed rumours of him being cast in ‘Ramayana’. Ranbir said that those are just rumours which aren’t true. There have also been reports that the actor is in talks with Aditya Chopra for ‘Dhoom 4’. Ranbir said that he wishes he was Aditya Chopra to answer that question but as of now, he’s not been offered to be a part of anything of that sort. However, he would love to be a part of a film of that nature, said Ranbir.
‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ is set to release on March 8. Post that, Ranbir will be seen next in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
