Ranbir Kapoor confirms ‘Brahmastra 2 and 3’, reveals shoot details – Times of India

Ranbir Kapoor delivered a thundering hit in the form of ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’ in 2021. A sequel to this mythological drama is eagerly awaited.
The actor is planning to take a break post the shoot of ‘Animal’ and it is only after spending quality time with this daughter that the actor will begin work on ‘Brahmastra’. Spilling beans on the same, Ranbir told Pinkvilla that that will be making ‘Brahmastra 2 and 3’ and that Ayan Mukerji is writing the script. He also stated that they plan to begin shooting by the end of 2023 or by early 2024. With the sequel, Ayan plan to narrate the story of the mysterious character of Dev. Speaking about the film, Ayan had told PTI, “’Part Two: Dev’ will be a darker and juicier story in terms of the dramatic conflict. The follow-ups will be darker for sure.”

Before ‘Brahmastra’ sequel, Ranbir will wrap the shoot of Sandeep Reddy Vanga helmed ‘Animal’. The actor will be seen in a completely difference avatar in this movie, which features Rashmika Mandanna as his leading lady. Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol will be seen essaying pivotal parts in ‘Animal’, which is scheduled to hit the screens in August 2023.
