Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima reveals Sridevi, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan performed at her Sangeet ceremony: ‘It was ghar ki baat’ – Times of India

Ranbir Kapoor‘s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who is a renowned jewellery designer, is one of the most loved celebrities in the industry. The diva tied the knot with her businessman husband Bharat Sahni nearly 20 years ago. Recently in an interview, Riddhima recalled anecdotes from her wedding.
During a conversation with Galatta India, Riddhima reminisced that her favourite moment from the wedding was her sangeet ceremony where some of the biggest celebrities like Sridevi, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan performed.She revealed all this happened because of their relationship with her late father, Rishi Kapoor.
Recalling the memorable event, Riddhima said, “Sridevi ji performed, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh performed, everyone performed actually but they did it because of dad, because of his goodwill and his love. They did it on their own and it was fun. Everyone had a blast. All the stars who performed they did it dil se, it was like ghar ki baat, like family.”
As Salman Khan’s longtime admirer, Riddhima was overjoyed to witness the celebrity personally serving beverages at her wedding. She remembered Salman’s gesture with fondness, finding it “too sweet.” But the guests were so enthralled by Salman Khan’s appearance as the bartender that they quickly dropped what they were drinking and ran to the bar to get served. When the alcohol ran out rapidly, Rishi Kapoor intervened and asked Salman to leave the bar.
For the unversed, Riddhima Kapoor is the daughter of veteran actors Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor and sister of Ranbir Kapoor She is a renowned jewellery designer. She got married to businessman Bharat Sahni in 2006 after four years of dating. They met while studying in London. The couple welcomed their daughter Samara Sahni in 2011.
On the work front, Riddhima will soon be seen in the upcoming season of Netflix’s ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’.
