RRR releases in Japan tomorrow, Ram Charan shares pic between promotions – Times of India

SS Rajamouli’s RRR continues to win hearts in all corners of the world – the film that hit theatres in March this year was a resounding success across the globe and was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously. Two months after the theatrical release, the movie released on OTT giant Netflix and quickly become one of the biggest OTT grossers in Hindi.

The magnum opus is now set to sail to East Asia, with the movie releasing in Japan tomorrow (October 21). The lead cast of the film that includes Ram Charan and Jr NTR are currently in Japan for the release, along with director SS Rajamouli.

In between movie promotions and interaction with Japanese media, Ram Charan managed to share some pics from the country with his fans. Taking to his IG handle, Ram Charan posted a pic and captioned it simply “Japan” with a heart emoji. The official handle of RRR too shared some pics of the cast in Japan. It is also believed that one of Jr NTR’s die hard fan in Japan met him and presented him with a welcome card.

RRR, set in the 1920s is the inspiring tale of two revolutionaries and also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody and Ray Stevenson amongst others.
