Xiaomi on Tuesday announced the RedmiBook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition 2022 in China. The laptop was debuted alongside the Redmi Note 11T series. As the name suggests, the RedmiBook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition 2022 is powered by Ryzen 6000H-series CPUs. The Ryzen Edition comes with a 14-inch 2.5K panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Further, the has a 56WHr battery, which can last up to 10 hours.
RedmiBook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition 2022 comes in two variants – one powered by the Ryzen 5 6600H coming at CNY 4,499 (Rs 52,265) and a Ryzen 7 6800H variant priced at CNY 5,099 (Rs 61,567). The Ryzen Edition 2022 is already available for pre-orders in China, and the sales are scheduled to begin on May 31 in China.
Xiaomi’s latest Ryzen powered laptop comes in an aluminium-alloy body and features a 14-inch display with a 2.5K resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 300 nits. The panel comes with TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emissions. The new RedmiBook comes with a full-size backlit keyboard. Further, the laptop sports a set of 2W stereo speakers with DTS-HD. Upfront, it has a webcam for video calls.
The RedmiBook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition 2022 has two CPU options — Ryzen 5 6600H and Ryzen 7 6800H. The two variants come with RDNA2 based Radeon 660M and 680M GPUs, respectively. Both the configurations have 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The Ryzen Edition boasts a 54WHr battery, claimed to last 10 hours on a single charge. Further, the laptop comes with a 100W USB C power adapter. Moreover, the laptop features a dual-fan cooling system to keep the temperature under the hood under check. Connectivity options include 2x USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 ports, a USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, an HDMI 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone/ mic combo jack, and WiFi 6.
