Samsung has slashed the price of its F-series smartphone in India. Samsung Galaxy F42 has received a price cut of Rs 3,000. The smartphone comes in two variants and the company has slashed the price of only the 6GB RAM variant.
Samsung Galaxy F42 new price
Launched in September 2021, Samsung Galaxy F42 comes in two variants — 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. Presently, only the 6GB version has got a price drop of Rs 3,000 and it can now be purchased at Rs 17,999. Samsung has not yet announced the price cut for the 8GB variant and it is available for Rs 22,999. Customers can purchase the smartphone in Matte Black and Matte Blue colour options.

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ display. The phone’s screen has a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and runs on Samsung One UI 3.1 based on the Android 11 operating system.
The 5G phone comes with support for 12 5G bands. These include N1 (2100), N3 (1800), N5 (850), N7 (2600), N8 (900), N20 (800), N28 (700), N66 (AWS-3), N38 (2600), N40 (2300), N41 (2500), and N78 (3500).
Samsung Galaxy F42 5G features Dolby Atmos support for both wired and Bluetooth headsets. It boasts an 8MP camera at the front for selfies. While the rear camera comprises triple sensors. These include a 64MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide lens with a 115-degree field of view and a 2MP live focus lens. The phone comes with a Night mode feature.
The handset houses a 5000mAh battery. It comes paired with a 15-watt adapter and USB Type-C charging port.
