Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series gets latest Android security update – Times of India

Samsung has started rolling out the latest Android security update for Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ smartphones globally. The duo has already started receiving the Android security update dated September 1 across several regions in the world including carrier locked variants in the US, according to a report by SamMobile.
The report confirms that the eligible Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ smartphones with model numbers SM-N970F, SM-N975F, and SM-N976B will receive the update notification as always. Users can also manually check for the update by hitting Check for updates under Settings menu.
The new update only includes the September Android security patch and a few bug fixes and this is the second update for Galaxy Note 10 device rollout this month as Samsung has also started rolling out the OneUI 2.5 update based on Android 10 for the smartphone in some parts of the world. The OneUI 2.5 update is a deferred rollout and the entire process is very slow and might take a while before reaching your smartphone depending on the region.
Galaxy Note 10+ specifications
Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ features a 6.8-inch dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display with a resolution of 3040×1440 pixels and a pixel density of 498ppi. The handset is powered by a 2.7GHz octa-core Exynos 9825 processor and comes only in 12GB and 256GB storage.
The Galaxy Note 10+ comes with a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP primary sensor with OIS along with a 16MP ultra-wide sensor, 12MP telephoto sensor with OIS and a VGA time of flight sensor. On the front, the device comes with a 10MP 2PD F2.2 selfie camera.
