Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend claims Rhea Chakraborty facilitated meeting with talent management company under NCB radar – Times of India

A friend of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has alleged that Rhea Chakraborty “facilitated” a meeting between the star and the talent management company that is now under the Narcotics Control Bureau’s radar in their ongoing drug probe.

Under the condition of anonymity, the male friend, who is also a key witness to the CBI, said in an interview with Times Now, “Kwan was brought for a meeting by Rhea.”

Describing a man with a moustache who was “driving her”, he added, “These guys met with her and when the meeting happened, Rhea was the one who facilitated it. Sushant did not want to do all this talent manager stuff. He thought that these guys were trying to find ways to (target) brands, audience and make money from it.”

“She initiated the dialogue,” he said before going on to claim that the late actor didn’t care about his Bollywood career.

The friend added, “He did not care about Bollywood. He did not care about this movie career. He knew more ways to be sustainable than just Bollywood.”

When asked if Jaya Saha and Rhea were “close friends,” he denied it saying, “No, Jaya was close to Shruti.”

The NCB is currently questioning Saha for alleged ‘drug-related’ chats that came to light over the course of the investigation. In her statement to the investigating agency, Saha reportedly “confessed” that she procured CBD oil for celebrities including Sushant, Rhea, Shraddha Kapoor and Madhu Mantena.

In her statement, she also claimed that during her time managing the actor, she helped him bag six films, including – ‘Sonchiriya’, ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Chhichhore’. Saha also shared details about her chat with Sushant on June 5, regarding a film deal. However, she claimed that the star didn’t agree to a signing fee of Rs 6 crore and demanded Rs 12 crore for the same.
