In the last few years rapid development works had been seen on the eastern front especially along the Line of Actual Control to match and counter Chinese aggression and expansion. Apart from road connectivity and other infrastructure development works, the government is working to strengthen mobile connectivity in Tawang and other bordering areas of Arunachal Pradesh. There is a huge improvement in the past 2-3 years. Now we can use Facebook and WhatsApp. earlier, there was no mobile network in the border area but now the situation has changed. We receive good connections at Bum La Pass and Y-junction. All the preparations have been done for installing more towers but winter has come and we are hopeful that installation work will be done during the summer.
