Inspired by Tesla Cybertruck
On the Tesla site, the company says that the design of the Wireless Charging Platform is inspired by “the angular design and metallic styling of Cybertruck.”
The Wireless Charging Platform provides 15W of fast charging power per device for up to three devices simultaneously. “Its sleek design is composed of an aluminium housing, premium Alcantara surface and a detachable magnetic stand that allows you to lay the charger flat or at an angle for better viewing,” reads the product description.
The Wireless Charging Platform is powered by the FreePower technology, which charges your Qi-capable devices such as phones or earbuds placed anywhere on its surface without precise alignment. The Wireless Charging Power includes a USB-C cable integrated with wireless charger, 65W USB-C power adapter and a magnetic detachable stand.
How much does the Wireless Charging Platform cost?
The Tesla Wireless Charging Platform is priced at $300, which is roughly close to Rs 25,000.
Where will it be available?
It will be sold through the Tesla online shop. Tesla has said that the Wireless Charging Platform will begin shipping in February 2023. It is also not clear whether it is a limited-edition product, like the Tesla tequila or even shorts. However, chances are that Tesla could sell it for a longer period rather than just for a short while.
