Buzz around B-Town is that Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are presently busy preparing for their wedding festivities which are reportedly set to take place from December 7 at the Six Senses Fort Barwara, a resort in Sawai Madhopur. Even as the rumour mills continue to keep churning, the rumoured couple remain tight lipped about their relationship status and all other details. However, people close to them have addressed the rumours during recent interviews. Now, Salim Khan, producer and screenwriter who also happens to be superstar Salman Khan’s father has addressed the rumours in a new interview. Salman and Katrina have been great friends for a long time now and the actress is often seen joining the Khan family for special poojas, family functions and events. She also shares a close bond with Salman’s sister Arpita and his mom, Salma. When asked if he knows the details of Katrina’s wedding, addressing the rumours, Salim Khan told a daily and we quote: ‘What should (I) say about it since the media is left with only such issues to talk about.’ Clearly, the revered screenwriter wasn’t willing to divulge any details even if he knew of the rumoured couple’s marriage plans. Earlier, reports were rife that a few invites have been send out to industry colleagues. Salman Khan was reportedly among them. Reports claimed that the superstar and his family have agreed to attend Katrina Kaif’s wedding from the actress’ side. Sharing more details, a source, had, in fact, exclusively told ETimes: ‘Their wedding outfits are being designed by Sabyasachi. They are currently in the process of choosing fabrics for the same; Katrina has chosen a raw silk number for her ensemble, which is going to be a lehenga…’ Meanwhile, from Vicky’s side, his sister Dr Upasana Vohra had addressed the rumours and told the publication in a separate interview and we quote, ‘Reports about preparations to the wedding dates are all rumours being spread in the media. The marriage is not taking place. If such a thing happens, they will announce it. In Bollywood, such rumours are often circulated and later it turns out that it was something else. They are just temporary rumours. I had a talk with my brother recently. There is nothing like that. I don’t want to comment on this issue anymore, but the marriage is not taking place at the moment.’
