Three kids among four killed in Samba road mishap | India News – Times of India

JAMMU: Four passengers, including three children, died while 15 others were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in was hit by a truck in J&K’s Samba district late Friday.
The deceased were identified as Suman Devi (40), Rahul (8), and five-year-olds Muskan and Krish — all members of the same family from Mandal village, travelling to attend a function at Rakh Amb village in Samba district. The accident took place near the new bus stand in Samba.
“On receiving information, police and locals rushed to the spot and evacuated the injured to the district hospital, where doctors declared three children and one woman as brought dead,” an official said.
Four persons with critical injuries were referred to the Jammu GMCH for specialised treatment.
