Vivo X70 Pro+, X70 Pro smartphones with 50MP gimbal camera launched in India: Price, specs and more – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Vivo X70 Pro and X70 Pro+ smartphones are now official in India. Smartphone maker Vivo has launched its latest X70 flagship smartphone series in the country. The company has launched the Vivo X70 Pro and the X70 Pro+ smartphones. Both the smartphones come with Zeiss Optics and a Gimbal camera. Both the smartphones come with the Imaging chip V1 which is designed by Vivo. The duo comes with Zeiss T certified coating and promises to reduce reflections and enhance light transmission. The smartphones also offer camera features like Real-Time Extreme Night Vision, Super Night Video, Pure Night View, Pro Cinematic Mode and more.
Vivo X70 Pro+ is the first smartphone in India to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor. The smartphone also comes with support for fast charging, wireless fast charging and reverse wireless charging.
Price and availability
Vivo X70 Pro+ comes with a price tag of Rs 79,990 making it the most expensive smartphone of the company. On the other hand, the Vivo X70 Pro comes in three variants — 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB priced at Rs 46,990, Rs 49,990 and Rs 52,990 respectively. Customers can purchase the Vivo X70 Pro+ in Engima Black colour, while the X70 Pro is available in Aurora Dawn and Cosmic Black colour options.
Both the smartphones are up for pre-booking starting today and will be available online on Flipkart and vivo.com. The X70 Pro+ will go on sale on October 13, while the X70 Pro can be purchased from October 7. As part of the launch offers, the company is giving cashback of up to Rs 5000 and 1-year screen replacement warranty with the smartphones.
Vivo X70 Pro+ specifications
Vivo X70 Pro+ features a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ display with 1440×3200 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The high-end smartphone runs the Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of FunTouch 12 UI. The USP of the smartphone is its Gimbal camera with Zeiss Optics.
Vivo X70 Pro+ sports quad rear camera with 50MP main sensor with f/1.57 aperture, gimbal OIS, 48MP ultra-wide camera with 4-axis OIS Gimbal stabilization, 12MP portrait camera with f/1.6 aperture, 8MP periscope camera. The front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter f/2.45 aperture.
The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is also made water and dust resistant with an IP68 rating. It houses dual speakers and is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 55W fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, 10W wireless reverse charging support.
Vivo X70 Pro specifications
Vivo X70 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 256GB of internal storage. It runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own FunTouch OS and features a 6.56-inch full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Like its sibling, this one also comes with a gimbal camera. Vivo X70 Pro sports a quad-rear camera which consists of 50MP primary sensor with OIS, Ultra-Sensing Gimbal Camera and Gimbal Stabilization 3.0 technology, 12MP 116° ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, 12MP 50mm portrait camera and 8MP 5X periscope camera with f/3.4 aperture. You also get a 32MP front camera for selfies.
The premium smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and packs a 4450mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
