Vivo X80 series to go on sale today in India: Price, specifications and other details – Times of India

Vivo India unveiled the Vivo X80 series smartphones in the country last week. This new lineup includes two handsets — the Vivo X80 and the Vivo X80 Pro which will go on sale for the first time today (May 25) in India. The vanilla Vivo X80 device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, whereas the Pro variant will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Both the smartphones sport a 6.78-inch display, 50MP primary camera, 32MP front camera and 80W FlashCharge support. Apart from the smartphones, the Vivo TWS 2 series that including – TWS ANC 2 and TWS 2e, will also go on sale today.
Vivo X80 series and Vivo TWS 2 series price and availability
The Vivo X80 series smartphones and the Vivo TWS 2 series will be available on the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart and across all partner retail stores. The Vivo X80 Pro will be available in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant as well as in a single Cosmic Black colour option that will be priced at Rs 79,999. While the vanilla Vivo X80 smartphone will have two different configurations and colour variants. The 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option will be available at Rs 54,999, whereas the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage option will be priced at Rs 59,999. This smartphone will be available in two colour options— Cosmic Black and Urban Blue. The Vivo TWS 2 ANC and the TWS 2e earbuds will cost Rs 5,999 and Rs 3,299, respectively.
Vivo X80 key specifications
The Vivo X80 Pro sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and 1000 nits peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor backed with an integrated Mali G710 GPU, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The handset houses a triple-rear camera setup that includes — a 50MP Sony IMX866 sensor with OIS support, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX663 sensor and a 12MP portrait sensor with 50mm focal length and 2x optical zoom. The device also features a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
Vivo X80 packs a 4500mAh battery unit that supports 80W FlashCharge fast charging. The smartphone offers Type-C charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a stereo speaker setup and will run on FunTouchOS 12, based on Android 12.
Vivo X80 Pro key specifications
The Vivo X80 Pro also has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display that supports Quad HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. This device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and an Adreno 730 GPU coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
This handset comes with a quad-rear camera setup that includes — a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX598 sensor, a 12MP portrait camera which is also a Sony IMX663 sensor that offers 2X optical zoom and gimbal stabilization along with an 8MP periscope lens that supports OIS, 5x optical zoom and 60x zoom. The cameras on this model also support a laser autofocus module, a V1+ chip and a Zeiss T coating. The device also houses a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The Pro variant packs a 4700mAh battery unit with 80W FlashCharge fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging support. This device will also be equipped with a Type-C charging port, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a stereo speaker setup. Vivo X80 Pro will even feature IP68 water and dust-resistant rating and will boot FunTouchOS 12 based on Android 12.
