Salman’s role has now developed into a special role and he is quite kicked about it. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, ‘Antim’ is a remake of the Marathi film ‘Mulshi Pattern’ and revolves around a farmer and his son who are at loggerheads. Manjrekar had acted in the original Marathi film that was directed by Pravin Tarde, who has been credited as the writer for ‘Antim- The Final Truth’.
Salman Khan and Mahesh Manjrekar have worked together in ‘Dabanng’, ‘Dabanng 3’ and ‘Ready’ as co-stars and Manjrekar was to direct the remake of his film ‘Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho’ with Govinda for Salman Khan Productions which was shelved after the Govinda turned it down.
Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan have worked together in ‘No Entry’, ‘Race 3’ and ‘Yuvraaj’. Unfortunately Anil couldn’t be part of the project and Salman took his place, instead.
