Earlier, State Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aditya Thackeray were spotted arriving at Dilip Kumar’s residence in Bandra to pay their last respects to the legend. “Enriching the Indian film industry, a shining star emerged from the silver lining. Dilip Kumar, who plays the role of Ajramar, will remain in the hearts of film lovers and fans forever. A heartfelt tribute to veteran actor Padma Vibhushan Dilip Kumar,” tweeted the CM wrote in Marathi.

On Wednesday morning, Dilip Kumar passed away at the age of 98 after he was hospitalised for the second time in June after he complained about breathing problems. Confirming the tragic news, a statement from the actor’s official Twitter handle read, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago.”
