When Kareena Kapoor spoke about Karisma Kapoor’s struggling days, said she has seen “too much” – Times of India

Kareena Kapoor Khan grew up with her mother Babita and sister Karisma Kapoor by her side. The actress has spoken time and again about watching her sister struggle to make it in Bollywood during her initial days.

In a throwback interview with Simi Garewal, Kareena reportedly said that she has seen her sister Karisma Kapoor sit up for nights together with her mother Babita and cry. Apparently, people were trying to put her down at the work front. According to Kareena, Karisma was afraid she would never make it in Bollywood. Bebo revealed that she would hide behind and watch them as they would never want young Kareena to see them in pain.

Elaborating further, Kareena revealed that as a child, she has gone through everything that her sister and mother went through. She also went on to say that, all that has only made her stronger. Now, if someone tries to put her down, she knows how to fight them because she has seen her mother and sister go through that struggle.

Kareena and Karisma still share a great bond. They are often seen hanging out together with their BFFs, Malaika and Amrita Arora and going on vacations. The Kapoor sisters also celebrate all special occasion together with their family.

Karisma is currently away from films. She is a single mother of two kids – Samaira and Kiaan Raj Kapoor.

Kareena, on the other hand, is happily married to Saif Ali Khan and is a mother of two kids – Taimur and her newborn baby boy.

On the work front, Kareena is awaiting the release of her upcoming film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Aamir Khan. The film is an official remake of ‘Forrest Gump’ that had Tom Hanks in the lead role.

Apart from that, she is also a part of her BFF Karan Johar’s upcoming period drama, ‘Takht’.
