Back in 2013, the actor had switched from television to films and made his debut with Shuddh Desi Romance. 2 years later, during an interview with a news portal, the actor had opened up about switching to films.
The actor shared that, many people asked if he wouldn’t get to work in films, despite doing a filmmaking course, and the fact that he had quit TV, to which he said that he would make his own films. Elaborating further, he said that he’d start a canteen, buy a camera, make his own short film, and feature in it too.
The ‘Kedarnath’ actor shared that the canteen idea would simply allow him to immerse into the vibe of Film City and look at it at a closer level. The actor loved the place so much that he genuinely wanted to open a canteen – he can eat and enjoy watching films and also shoot at the same time.
Talking about Sushant, he rose to fame as Manav Deshmukh from the television series, Pavitra Rishta, and thereon, he delivered several blockbuster Hindi films. The actor was a keen astronomer and loved to spend time with the underprivileged kids.
It was on June 14, that the news of his alleged death by suicide broke out and left everyone in a state of shock. His death caused several controversial stirs and movements to attain justice were started by his fans and followers.
