Nag Ashwin‘s upcoming film, ‘Kalki 2898 AD‘ is one of the most awaited films. The film stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.
Now, reports are rife that SS Rajamouliwill be playing a special cameo in the film. In the past, Rajamouli had played a cameo in ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’. Not just that, he had made special appearances in his films and starred in a few commercials as well.

Dulquer Salmaan has also been roped in to play a cameo in the film. However, the actor has not indulged much about his role and only said that it would be a visual delight from Nag Ashwin.’Kalki 2898 AD’ was written and directed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame. The sci-fi film was announced on Vyjayanthi Movies’ 50th anniversary. The film was produced on a massive budget of Rs 600 crore, making it the most expensive Indian movie ever.
The movie stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. Disha Patani also plays an important role. Simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi, the film has music scored by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.

According to reports, the film is being made on a budget of Rs 600 crore and will be released in two parts. It was launched at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year. At the event, the director said, “It’s still an Indian film at heart, it’s Indian mythology, our culture, from being a south Indian, from being Telugu, from being Indian, from being a fan of Star Wars, all of that love comes into this one thing. It’s a new kind of thing.”
