Xiaomi has launched multiple products at its Xiaomi Next 2022 event. The Chinese tech giant has introduced two new smart TVs alongside the Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone and the Pad 5 tablet. The newly launched smart TVs are — the Xiaomi OLED Vision TV and the Xiaomi TV 5A. The Xiaomi OLED Vision TV will be available in a single 55-inch variant, whereas the Xiaomi TV 5A will have three different size options — 32, 40 and 43-inch size options.
The Xiaomi OLED Vision TV will offer a metal bezel-less design and a 4.6mm thin panel. Both the smart TVs will support features including — DTS:X, Dolby Atmos and the company’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine 2 (VPE) technology. The Xiaomi OLED Vision TV will be equipped with other features like — IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision IQ. The company claims that the panel of the OLED Vision TV will have self-illuminating pixels and will support HDR10+, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 among others.
Xiaomi TV 5A price and availability
Xiaomi TV 5A will be available for purchase starting April 30, 2022, and will be available across Mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon and all other retail partners. The TV will have three size variants — 32, 40 and 43-inches which are priced at Rs 13,499, Rs 20,999 and 23,999 respectively.
Xiaomi OLED Vision TV price, offers and availability
The 55-inch variant of the Xiaomi OLED Vision TV will be available starting May 19, 2022 at a starting price of Rs 89,999. The company’s official website will also offer HDFC credit cardholders an additional Rs 6000 discount on the product.
Xiaomi TV 5A specifications
The 32-inch variant of the Xiaomi TV 5A will support HD Ready resolution while both the 40 and 43-inch models will have FHD displays. The base variant will be powered by the quad-core Cortex A35 CPU backed with 1GB RAM and the other models will have the quad-core Cortex A55 CPU coupled with 1.5GB RAM. However, all the variants will pack a Mali G31 MP2 graphics unit and 8GB of storage. The base model will come with a 20W dual speaker setup while the other two models will have a 24W speaker system.
All the variants of the Xiaomi TV 5A will have a metal bezel-less design and will support the Vivid Picture Engine, DTS:X, HDMI 2.0, eARC, Dolby Atmos, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. All the variants will run on the latest Android 11 TV and will also support auto low latency mode. For connectivity, all the size variants of Xiaomi TV 5A will come with two USB 2.0 ports, one Ethernet, one AV and two HDMI ports
Xiaomi OLED Vision TV specifications
The 55-inch Xiaomi OLED Vision TV will sport 4.6mm thin bezels around the display with a 97 percent screen-to-body ratio. The TV will support IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision IQ technology and will also have a Filmmaker Mode. The company claims it to be a 10-bit panel with MEMC support.
The Xiaomi OLED Vision TV will be powered by a MediaTek 9617 quad-core chipset and will support a Mali G52 MC1 graphics unit, backed with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The smart TV features 30W speakers and a custom-built 1.48-litre audio system. For a better sound experience, the TV also supports DTS:X and Dolby Atmos.
The smart TV will run on the latest Android 11 TV platform and it will support 30 content partners, 15 languages and the Google voice assistant. For connectivity, the smart TV will have HDMI 2.1, eARC, ALLC, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.
