airpods: Apple AirPods 3 likely to launch next month, enters production: Report – Times of India

When Apple sent out invitations for the September 14 California event, most were expecting that the tech giant would introduce us to the new iPhone series along with the new generation of AirPods but the manufacturer had different plans. We got to see the new series of iPhones and a new Apple Watch Series 7 but there wasn’t any announcement regarding a new AirPods model throughout the event.
It is expected that Apple will launch the new AirPods 3 along with the next generation of AirPods Pro next month in a separate event. As per a report on DigiTimes, AirPods 3 have entered production and Apple has started receiving the produced units.
The rumoured true wireless stereo earphones are expected to get a new chipset. It is also said that the new generation of AirPods will also boost the new Lossless Audio feature introduced by Apple’s music streaming platform. It is also speculated that the upcoming earphones by Apple will have a much better battery life compared to the previous generations.
Apple AirPods 3 are dubbed as an affordable alternative to the AirPods Pro by many tipsters because the product is likely to be priced more than the current AirPods model. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will keep selling the AirPods 2.
As per the leaks on the internet, the upcoming AirPods will look similar to the current generation AirPods Pro. The leaks also suggest that AirPods 3 may also be manufactured with recyclable parts just like the Pro model.
Apple launched the current generation AirPods and AirPods Pro in 2019 and after two years people are keen to see what new Apple has to offer as their latest iPhone left many disappointed.
In the next month’s event, along with new earphones, Apple is also expected to unveil the Mac devices.
