Bollywood’s action king Akshay Kumar is missing his mother today. He recently took to his Instagram handle to share an emotional post along with a heart-breaking video of himself. The devastated son Akshay looks lost in thoughts and one can hear Devi’s mantra ‘Namastasye Namo Namah’ being played in the background throughout the video. It seems that Akshay was sitting on a boat while the video was shot. Akki captioned the video in Hindi, which loosely translates to, ‘Missing my mother a lot today.’ His mother Aruna Bhatia passed away on September 8 this year. The actor had then taken to Twitter, to express his grief and announce the sad news. His note read, ‘She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.’ Akshay Kumar was very close to his mother and took time off from his hectic schedule to be with her. One of the videos which was loved by his fans was Akshay strolling on the streets of London with his mother Aruna Bhatia on a wheelchair. A while ago Akshay had also poured his feelings out regarding the bond he shared with his mother during an interaction with a news portal. The doting son had then said, ‘The bond between a mother and her son is so strong yet so gentle…nothing could come between us, no amount of miles or continents can keep us from letting each other know every day that I would be nothing and no one without her.’
