Amid Aryan Khan’s arrest, NCB’s Sameer Wankhede security increased – Times of India

Mumbai police raised the number of bodyguards and armed personnel giving protection to NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede after snooping allegations by Wankhede. Police deployment outside the NCB office also increased.

Recently, Wankhede alleged that he is being followed by the Mumbai Police. He met the Maharashtra Police chief regarding this and also filed a complaint with the Union government that his movements are being tracked. According to a report, Wankhede had also submitted the CCTV footage of him being spied upon as a piece of evidence. He had sought police protection for himself and his family too.

Later, Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse-Patil had stated that they have not given any orders to the cops or the state intelligence to follow Sameer Wankhede. He added that Wankhede has complained to DG Maharashtra police and they will look into this issue.

Wankhede and his team are under the spotlight after busting a rave party aboard a luxury cruise ship, during which, Shah Rukh Khan‘s son Aryan Khan and eight others were arrested.
